Old Systems
- Older systems usually have a build up of sludge, scale and hydrogen gas. The corrosion increases with time until the flow is impaired.
- Circulation pumps fail.
- Radiators get cold spots and can partially fill with hydrogen gas.
- Boiler noises caused by bad circulation, then going to lock-out.
- Hot water plate heat exchangers fill up with scale, causing poor flow and lack of hot water.
- Most of these problems can be resolved by a thorough power flush with the correct chemicals, in conjunction with the magnetic filter.
