What is Power Flushing?
-
A straightforward process designed to eliminate the problems associated with old boiler
and heating systems.
How long does it take?
What happens?
-
The pump or radiator is removed to isolate the system so that the water condition
can be checked.
-
The power flushing unit and magnetic unit are connected to the central heating system.
The magnetic filter removes metal particles.
-
The system is cleaned with fresh water to remove any loose debris.
-
Clean water and cleaning chemicals are finally run through the system.
-
Radiators are turned off and each one cleaned by flushing back and forth to remove sludge etc.
-
While cleaning the radiators, infra red equipment is used to ensure the radiators
are working efficiently.
-
After system is cleaned, the dirty water is drained and clean water flushed through.
-
The power flushing unit and magnetic filter are removed.
-
Corrosion inhibitor is added to the system for protection.
-
Finally the system is run in order to check heating performance.
